1, avoid hose distortion
The hydraulic lift for warehouse hose installed by distortion can gravely reduce its performance and service life, and the hose installed by distortion can cause the joint to produce loose torque (hose should be twisted straight), which is easy to loosen the nut of the joint, leading to leakage and even hose rupture. If there is some unavoidable rubber hose distortion, its distortion angle is not easy to exceed 5 degrees.
2. There should be sufficient bending radius during installation.
A large sufficient bending radius (that is, with appropriate length) can prevent hose damage and throttling phenomenon; too tiny bending radius will gravely reduce hose service life, and produce a lot of pressure loss, reducing work efficiency. Typically, the bending radius is R≥ (8-10) D (D is the outer diameter of rubber hose)
3, should leave sufficient free length L≥1.5D (D is the hose outer diameter)
4. Use elbows and accessories when necessary
When the hydraulic pipeline is more complex, the selection of appropriate elbows and accessories can reduce the amount of hose, reduce the bend and distortion of hose, avoid additional stress of hose, and can make its arrangement more attractive, neat and reasonable.
5. Compression allowance should be left
Pressure will cause the length of the hose to alter, and the range of change can be up to -4%~+2%. Therefore, the allowance should be left when installing, otherwise, long-term use will cause leakage at the joint, and even pull out the joint from the hose.
