The classification of transformers is mainly based on the installation method and the core material inside to distinguish.
Specific performance in the product, to install the division, closed type, open type.
Divided by magnetic core material:
1, have power frequency (silicon steel, generally to regenerate silicon steel materials), measuring 40-70Hz power frequency AC signal
2, medium and high frequency, 40-50kzh, magnetic materials as long as amorphous, nanocrystalline and other materials, is also the current market more commonly used transformer;
3, ferrite, measuring high frequency, 40-10mhz, mainly used for high frequency power supply;
there is a fundamental difference between Hall's sensor and transformer in the working principle, transformer is coil induction magnetic field, Hall is based on gallium arsenide, indium antimonide, indium arsenide and other materials induction method.
The common denominator is that the measurements are the same, and the primary stages are highly isolated.
* The fundamental difference is that Hall can measure DC.... Ac/DC current of 200KHZ, the transformer can only measure AC, greater than 40HZ AC.
There are no advantages or disadvantages between transformers and Hall sensors, only the differences in the conditions of use.
Advantages of transformer:
1, has the driving ability, the general output current is relatively large;
2. Low cost;
3, the work does not need auxiliary power supply, easy to use;
4, can measure the hall sensor can not reach the high frequency AC signal;
disadvantages of transformer:
1. Because of the large output, the MCU acquisition of the microcuit needs secondary isolation to protect the device;
2. There is a difference between the original side and the secondary side, which needs to be compensated in the software during MCU acquisition, which is more troublesome;
3. Measuring large current requires large volume, which affects the installation.
The transformer's weakness is Hall's strength.
Our Hall sensors include Hall voltage sensor open-type current transformer DC voltage sensor Hall current sensor open-type current transformer DC current sensor Open type Hall current sensor Hall detachable open type DC current sensor Hall open type open-loop current sensor
There are no pros and cons, only the use of different occasions. Each has its own advantages, and each has its own uniqueness on a particular occasion.
